Think about your prayer life and be honest.

My prayer life is inconsistent at best. What is a good prayer life? It’s like I have an ongoing conversation with God.  Is that good or bad?  Let’s talk about it.

KEY POINTS TO PONDER: Some of you can honestly say that you simply don't pray. You are welcome here by the way. That's the honesty we all must begin with at some point. Who have we thought we were fooling? God knows and so do we how much we talk with Him. And that's including the stuffy......people pleaser prayers. If you do just walk and talk with God daily in a real way.....that's a good thing.

I Don’t Pray.

“There are so many distractions!”

Prayer Does Matter.

Let’s have a heart-to-heart about prayer and all the good stuff it brings into our lives. We’re diving into the real deal of why we pray, the power it holds, the hurdles we face, finding that inner peace, and making our prayers count, all straight from the Bible.
1. Why Do We Pray?: Ever stopped to think why we talk to God? Well, prayer is  having a chat with God, sharing our gratitude, seeking guidance, and laying out our hopes and fears. In the Bible, prayer is all about deepening our connection with God and syncing up with His plans for us (Matthew 6:6, Philippians 4:6-7).
2. Prayer Packs a Punch: Prayer isn’t just words – it’s a direct line to the Almighty. It’s like a secret weapon that links us to the One who can work wonders and turn our world upside down (Matthew 21:22, James 5:16).
3. Struggles with Prayer: Let’s be real, praying isn’t always a breeze. Distractions, self-doubt, feeling unworthy, or just life getting in the way can throw us off. But the Bible tells us to keep the faith, stay persistent, and trust in God’s goodness (Luke 18:1, Ephesians 6:18).
4. Peace, Please!: Prayer is your ticket to finding calm in the chaos. By handing over our worries to God, finding solace in His presence, and tapping into a peace that’s beyond words, we can rest easy in His care (Philippians 4:6-7, John 16:33).
5. Prayer Powerhouses: Throughout the Bible, we meet folks who rocked the prayer game. Jesus prayed from the heart in tough times, and King David poured out his soul to God in the highs and lows. Their stories remind us of the power of persistent and heartfelt prayer (Matthew 26:36-46, Psalm 51).
